Atendiendo a esta noticia que ví en El Diario, puedoidar un teestimonio. En cierta empresa donde trabajaba redactando, las personas luego de ser capacitadas realizaban sus notas de forma manual, en un plazo de tiempo máximo de entre 30-60 minutos.

Existían gente de mayor rango que la realizaba en solo 10-20. En resumidas cuentas utilizaban IA para moldear todas sus notas y realizar hasta 8 de ellas o más al día, esto según ellos "beneficiaba a la empresa".

Un texto extraido de El Diario que dice: "Así lo ha mostrado un análisis publicado esta semana por Marfeel, una empresa tecnológica especializada en análisis y optimización de audiencias digitales. Según sus datos, el 51% de las entradas de Discover en Estados Unidos, Brasil y México son ya resúmenes generados con IA sobre eventos noticiosos, sintetizados a partir de los contenidos de los medios de comunicación".

Interesting finding: most of the custom 2FA input forms (you know those with single digit input fields) *do not* work on slow internet. Likely because they require some JS bundle that does not download properly or takes forever.
Solution: just use a regular single input field, folks!

Around the early 2000s I frequently typed "microsfot.com" in my browser. I wondered how many people in the world made that typo every day, and decided to register microsfot.com. 😁

I owned the domain for a couple of years, and made it redirect to one of my sites. Then I decided to ditch it, because I had a number of other domains as well, and I wanted to lower my total domain expenses.

Never heard anything about it from Microsoft though. 🙂

For the love of all that is good, *someone* PLEASE create a browser UI around Servo that is:

* #copyleft #FOSS
* Community governed
* Has daily testing packages
* Community funded non profit
* Avoids off device #AI
* Communicates clearly

I worked professionally with high profile #crowdfunding campaigns for years. I am 100% certain a campaign would go viral, with stretch goals blown away.

#Servo isn't feature complete, but many (me!) would 100% daily drive something alpha, buggy and missing features to build a better future. Hint: this is exactly what successfully launched FIrefox against #IE.

We need hope we can escape the sinking, Titanic shitopoly of #Chrome and #Firefox. We will rally around any principled alternative.

Question for the Mastodon hive mind:
Primer:
I have a need to convert, resize, reorient, and transcode video for various stages of our video edit and distribution pipeline. I've been doing all of this in ffMpeg, via command line arguments and custom-coded scripts. However, the needs of this thing just simply don't scale that way. And no one but me gets access to the CLI on these systems. So that's just not feseable.
Now finally, to the question.
I am looking for an open-source web frontend to ffMpeg that is, if not fully accessible, as that is a very tall order, but at least usable by an experienced screen reader user with the typical tools and hacks learned over twenty years of experience. Just something that doesn't make accessibility a barrier and most importantly, a time waster.
Please boost far and wide for reach, with thanks.
