Here's an interesting one. I remember buying this single at Best Buy back when stores sold lots of CDs. While I am not that big of a fan of the super long (so called "progressive") albums I do love this song.
The CD single included a live 2005 BBC radio recording of "Hallowed Be Thy Name".

#MetalMonday Shadowminds single-handedly reignited my love for melodic death metal. I don't recall who or what threw the link to this song over my fence but I felt instantly pulled back 20 years in time.

Usually I'm quite open to new music, but with Power Metal I always cycle back to the first wave of European Power #Metal that was driven by Helloween, Gamma Ray, Freedom Call, Rhapsody, you name it. I really dig the happy, self-referential lyrics about freedom, steel and random phantasy shit. Modern ninja space raptor lyrics are fun too, but they don't stick.
And keyboards, we need more live keyboard players!

What an excellent live album! Celebrating 60 years with so many great songs, I was especially happy they included a 70s medley featuring “Speedy’s Coming.” The new instrumental “Delicate Dance” is a real standout as well. I’m very happy I had the chance to see them live in 2022.

I'm still going through the Load deluxe box set. This time they went with a 7" picture disc whereas they normally include a 12" one.
