For the first time in a very long time, I have ridden my bicycle. I bought a #brompton over a month ago and, finally, got around to assembling it and taking it for a spin 'round the neighborhood. It's not comfortable yet: I'm still dialing in the handlebars and saddle positioning ...learning how to operate the gears.
Later today, I'll head over to REI to have the mechanic do a once-over.

My new bike arrived yesterday but I've not opened the box yet. It's a limited release from the manufacturer and I'm being a princess about it. First thing tomorrow, I'm registering it and insuring it.

В результате у нас получился готовый к использованию образ, который можно записать на USB-носитель или установить на жёсткий диск. В некоторых случаях требуется уменьшить размер виртуального диска — не просто сжать образ, а физически уменьшить объём виртуального qcow2 -диска. Самый надёжный способ — создать новый образ с меньшим диском и перенести туда систему .
I want to share a DVD drive over the network using the #NBD (#Linux Network Block Device) protocol.
I also want to keep the NBD server powered off most of the time (literally the only thing I need it for is its DVD drive), and only power it on when I actually intend to use the drive.
Is there a way to make nbd-client set up the NBD device but only actually connect to the server when some process opens the NBD device (i.e. connect lazily)?

#NBD is New Bars Day in this instance. Replacements for Ritchey Kyote's which don't always play nicely with #bikepacking handlebar rolls/bags/cradle and cable routing. These are 840mm wide which seems quite ridiculous, but then I thought that for the 800mm Kyote and fully expected to trim them down but never did. #cycling
Now I've given It a proper shakedown ride home, I've had to make a few changes. Saddle position changed, stem swapped out, tire pressure sorted, shifters moved inwards slightly, bottle cage added. Still need to tighten all the bolts up and check the spoke tension.
