Good Monday evening. Just enough time for a quick observation before conditions deteriorate. Headed back to / . Today’s image used the in board Light Pollution filter. Loading up the image from last weekend that just had the Moon and Sky Light filter for comparison. This is the only observation for tonight.

C11 / NGC 7635 The Bubble Nebula - telescope processed image with LP filter. It is created by the fierce stellar wind from a massive O-type star (SAO 20575), which is 45 times more massive than our Sun.C11 / NGC 7635 The Bubble Nebula - telescope processed image without LP filter. The star isn't in the middle; it’s off-center because the bubble expands into gas of varying densities in the interstellar medium.C11 / NGC 7635 The Bubble Nebula - unprocessed image with LP filter. The bubble is roughly 7 light-years across, meaning it’s about 40 trillion miles wide—large enough to swallow many solar systems.C11 / NGC 7635 The Bubble Nebula - unprocessed image without LP filter. The gas shell is expanding at an incredible rate of approximately 4 million miles per hour (roughly 1,800 kilometers per second).

The only image from the s50 from last night - / . Conditions outside seem to have deteriorated after I left thens50 outside for the night. I had just got a new filter holder / dew shield as well. Looks like it’s going to be more than a week before conditions improve again.

C11 / NGC 7635 The Bubble Nebula - telescope processed image. The 7-light-year-wide "bubble" is blown by intense stellar winds from the massive star SAO 20575, which is 45 times more massive than our Sun. C11 / NGC 7635 The Bubble Nebula - unprocessed image. The central star is actually off-center; it appears in the upper left because it's moving through space while pushing against a dense region of cold gas.

Good Tuesday morning. Decided to let the s50 perform some mosaics and longer observations durning this week. This will result in only 2 images a night for the next 4 mornings. Some of these images I hope to use in a large mosaic I wanted to put together. In the meantime, here is a mosaic of -157 . Image composed by 531 - 20 second duration exposures. In the upper left of the image you can see .

SH 2-157 Lobster Claw Nebula - telescope processed image with LP Filter and Moon and Sky Light Filter. The SH 2-157 Lobster Claw Nebula is an emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia, shaped by the powerful winds of giant stars, including the Wolf-Rayet star WR 157. SH 2-157 Lobster Claw Nebula - unprocessed image with LP Filter and Moon and Sky Light Filter. It has a famous neighbor! SH 2-157 is found near the well-known Bubble Nebula (NGC 7635) in the constellation Cassiopeia.

Last image for the Odyssey Pro for this morning. Here is an observation of .

NGC 7635 The Bubble Nebula - telescope processed image. A 7 light-year wide gas sphere in Cassiopeia formed by the powerful stellar wind from an extremely hot, massive young star. It's an emission nebula glowing with ionized hydrogen.NGC 7635 The Bubble Nebula - unprocessed image. The bubble is blown by the fierce stellar wind of the central star, which is 45 times more massive and a million times brighter than our Sun.

Last of the 3-hour observations, here is .

NGC 7635 The Bubble Nebula - telescope processed image. A glowing emission nebula in Cassiopeia. Its 7-light-year bubble is sculpted by the extreme stellar wind from a super-hot, massive central star, BD+60°2522.NGC 7635 The Bubble Nebula - unprocessed image. The bubble's central star, 45x the Sun's mass, generates a 4 million mph stellar wind that carves the 7 light-year bubble like a cosmic snowplow!

NGC 7635 The Bubble Nebula - telescope processed image. A stellar wind bubble carved out of interstellar gas by the intense radiation from a massive, super-hot star that appears dramatically off-center in the nebula. NGC 7635 The Bubble Nebula - unprocessed image. The massive central star blasts a stellar wind at over 4 million miles per hour to create the bubble, a shell expanding at seven light-years wide!

Happy Space Science Saturday! Have you heard of a star trapped within a bubble? Meet NGC 7635, also known as the Bubble Nebula. It is in the Cassiopeia constellation, about 7,100 light-years away from us. Scientists believe this massive star will go supernova in 10-20 million years.

Messier 52 and Bubble Nebula

The rather small Bubble Nebula pairs well with an open cluster also known as Messier 52.

Messier 52 and Bubble Nebula

The Bubble Nebula, #NGC7635, was created by a hot star at its centre creating stellar winds. This is a false-color photo made from emission spectral bands with all the stars removed. Shot from my backyard setup. #astrophotography

An astrophotograph of a blueish bubble like object glowing in a cloud of stellar dust. Nearby the dust is green/yellow, further away it fades to dark red.

#SkyWatch #Astrophotography #NGC7635 aka the #Bubble Nebula is a hydrogen II emission area about 8000 light years away in the #Cassiopeia constellation. The "bubble" is being formed by a massive short-lived star blowing away its hydrogen and now fusing helium in its core. Because of clouds and smoke, I was only able to capture 30 minutes (6x300 seconds) of exposure. This is a crop of a larger image. #StillLearning
