Back to the Odyssey Pro - here is an observation of the .

The M52 The Scorpion cluster. - telescope processed image. M52, the Scorpion Cluster, is a rich, condensed open star cluster in Cassiopeia. It contains \approx200 stars and lies \approx5,000 light-years away. The M52 The Scorpion cluster - unprocessed image. M52 is nicknamed the Scorpion Cluster and has a very high number of variable stars, including pulsating B, Delta Scuti, and eclipsing binary stars.

Messier 52 and Bubble Nebula

The rather small Bubble Nebula pairs well with an open cluster also known as Messier 52.

Metro 52 in Amsterdam is amazing and hard to believe it's only a few years old because every day it's packed to the rafters with people. I found a video on its construction #amsterdam #m52 youtube.com/watch?v=CUryBWF47z

#SkyWatch #Astrophotography If you zoom into the right side of this image, you will see NGC7635 aka the #Bubble, an emission nebula in the constellation Cassiopeia. The Bubble is created by stellar winds from its central star, which is about 44 times the mass of our Sun. The open star cluster #M52 is in the lower left. It is 158 million years old and contains 1200 times the mass of our Sun. #StillLearning

#SkyWatch #Astrophotography Yesterday's daily photo was a crop of this one which shows the #Bubble Nebula on the right and the open star cluster #M52 on the left. M52 is a large star cluster in the #Cassiopeia constellation. The central portion of the cluster shows very little interstellar matter. The current theory is that this matter was blown away by many supernova explosions early in the life of the cluster. The cluster is estimated to be more than 150 million years old. #StillLearning

Here is the Bubble Nebula NGC 7635. We can also see the open cluster of stars M52 below. The bright on the top is NGC 7538, the Northern Lagoon Nebula. On top right corner, we can see the part of the lobster claw Nebula.

a #Nova just appear in Cassiopeia constellation currently brightening at magnitude 7 but could be visible to the naked eye in the next days. Easy to find because located 1/2° south to open cluster #M52 !
