Die Ortschaft hieß früher #Newbridge und später #Ovoca. 1723 wurde hier das Unternehmen #Avoca_Handweavers mit einer Wollmühle am River Avoca gegründet, desen Name der Ort heute trägt. Wir haben an der #St_Maries_and_St_Patricks_Church geparkt, und diese dann auch als erstes besichtigt...
