I am #poor, so #travel, let alone #flying isn't something I do frequently, definitely not enough to pay for #TSA #PreCheck just to be hassled slightly less in a supposedly free society, but even if I wanted to pay the money, I'd have to go for an in-person interview with a corporate stooge, and there are no agents within a 100 km radius of my home, and I am #carfree. And then this corporation gets my data to use for police profit.

#SCOTUS unanimously rules against #USgovt in #NoFlyList case where man sued over being placed on it for refusing to become an #informant, and after #plaintiff was tortured and later reinstated, US wanted his #lawsuit dropped, saying the case was #moot any information used against him was #classified. #SCOTUS has ruled that his case has merit, man can seek redress, US cannot evade legal scrutiny despite US alleged #topsecret evidentiary concerns.

Seeing recent news of an airline passenger repeatedly punching a flight attendant got me thinking that that person should spend the rest of their life barred from air travel and airports.
That got me thinking of the #NoFlyList, which apparently has been less than secure.

When exactly did getting thrown off an #aeroplane for not cooperating with flight attendants become an act of #patriotism and not a consequence of being an unbearable Alpha Karen unwilling to adapt to rules applying to ALL passengers?
Seriously, find another stage to show how rebellious you are. Or find yourself back on a #noflylist, rightfully so!

It's illegal to import more than 1 "mobile radio, GSM phone or equivalent wireless communication device" per person and year.
And yes, they'll account that per-entry and if Erdogan doesn't like you, one get's randomly denied entry and sent back, subsequently risking to get on #IATA's #NoFlyList...
