Oh look! I've made another #BitwigStudio v4.0 preset - this time it's my take on the iconic Drawmer 1973 FET Three-Band Stereo Compressor. Why do this? It's fun and I want to apply this as a mastering compressor and hate plugins which require iLok. Your mileage will likely vary, but I like what it does to my tracks.

I wrote a bossa nova love song a few years back. I recorded a demo, but it didn't come out great. I got feedback from another musician that it might work in the style of Depeche Mode. I tried that too but thought it didn't work either.

Well, I just pulled out that electronic version again. It doesn't really sound like Depeche Mode at all to me, but surprisingly at second listen I think it works pretty well.

Time to record some vocals and submit it as #Bonkwave.
