Well, I sure pulled a stupid this morning.

Did laundry before I left for work last night. Had my sweat pants on. Loaded the car up and drove to Dallas. Unpacked and went to bed. Got up and went to put my jeans on and realized my belt was sitting back at home.

Had to find a DXL store to get a replacement. $45 for a strip of leather with a buckle..

And after everything else today, I got back and went to harvest some of what looked like it was going to be a bumper crop of greengages, but the motherfucking wasps have got to them first. I just returned from feeding the #MudBrothers & the #lambs.

As I came through the gate they rushed towards me - normal.

Ozzie (the older, white #alpaca) then spotted I had a bucket of crushed lupins on me.

He reared up on his hind legs & then head butted my shoulder! Not normal.

I’m not that stable on my legs at the best of times & his head butt sent me into the fence.

Poor Fattie. Had to give him a bath tonight. He didn’t get sprayed directly by a skunk but he was in the general vicinity when the scent wafted his way on the wind last night. Hope we got the worst of the stink out of his fur as it would be worse later in the week if he’s caught in the rain and gets wet.
