@ticho @mfuhrmann @nicd @marcos Indeed, a highly underused and hard-to-discover feature for reviewers and potentially demotivating for contributors (not getting their review, they would think nobody cares). If you're interested in reviewing, you can create filters and follow them through an RSS feed. This way, review requests come to you at least, and you don't have to go check every time.

Jake Low, software engineer at OSM US, made #OSMCha faster and better! Learn how he did it in this blog post:
ICYMI or want to re-watch the presentations, the recording of our latest Mappy Hour is now uploaded to YouTube: 🔗 https://youtu.be/srieavqx-nI?si=NynUtuJWGHeLUxfS
Professor Bill Wetherholt gave a thoughtful presentation about how OpenStreetMap relates to Geography's 5 Themes. OSM US Software Engineer Jake Low also showed folks how to use OSMCha to review and analyze changesets in the classroom.
🤓 Learn how our amazing software engineer, Jake Low, made awesome upgrades to #OSMCha in this blogpost:
Mark your calendars and sign up for our next #MappyHour! Join us on Wednesday, May 21st, from 8 - 9 pm ET. Hear from Bill Wetherholt, Professor at Frostburg State University, about how OpenStreetMap can be used in the classroom to teach Geography’s 5 themes. @OpenStreetMapUS thank you for supporting #OSMCha, the recent update is great.
Performance is amazing now!
New look for #OSMCha changesets?
It seems to be handling larger changes better.
Our #OSMCha instance makes it easy to inspect large changesets for subtle changes. Sometimes, those changes look very wrong, but only because modern aerial imagery doesn’t line up with the historical features being mapped.
Now you can visualize changesets against existing #OpenHistoricalMap coverage to see how it all fits into the map we’re building. Click the 🗺️ button to set the basemap back to #Mapbox or #BingMaps imagery like before.
Anyone else getting duplicated changes in #OsmCha feeds today?
Just ran my first test import of bus stops to OSM! https://osmcha.org/changesets/155821743
Errors in console:
Looks like OSMCha experiencing some problems for the latest few hours... 😟
How to easily double the amount of nodes in the #OpenStreetMap database? Map each #photovoltaics panel installed somewhere in the world individually!
Not sure whether to be impressed or mad… 😆
since about 2 months, #osmcha isn't working anymore
Who do I have to contact about this ?
Schon witzig, wenn man sich die eigenen Änderungen aus StreetComplete dann "in echt" anguckt: https://t.ly/juR0q
(Sorry für den Shortlink, Mastodon mag wohl keine { und % in URLs...)
EDIT: this issue is now resolved; the daily post has been generated just now.
It seems that #OSMCha is not ingesting new changesets. This bot account uses OSMCha to fetch all the changes made with @MapComplete@en.osm.town
As such, there will be no new automatic posts here until this is fixed...
(The changes you make with https://mapcomplete.org are still safely recorded into OpenStreetMap)
Kind regards,
