7-8hr data a couple of weeks ago - experimenting having reverted from NINA to Astroberry #opensource collimated the 8" 800mm Newt properly and testing the Altair Quadband filter. It's something, and I'm closer to knowing what I'll be shooting with next season...

Monday dawned clear and bright so we set up the hydrogen-alpha solar telescope and recorded some image sequences. Today was a dull and cloudy day so we spent some time learning new processing techniques for our solar imaging and were rewarded with our best shot yet. We've a long way to go but we think this picture shows great progress!

The Sun in Hydrogen-alpha Light.

Monday dawned clear and bright so we set up the hydrogen-alpha (Ha) solar telescope and recorded some image sequences. Today was a dull and cloudy day so we spent some time learning new processing techniques for our solar imaging and were rewarded with our best shot yet. The processing of choice was Solar Toolbox — a script package developed for use in PixInsight software — just the set of tools we were looking for! We’ve a long way to go but we think this picture shows great progress!

Finally got around to doing all the processing from the images I shot over the last couple of weeks - about 17 hours in total exposure time went into this image of M63, the Sunflower Galaxy, from my back garden telescope (a 200mm Newtonian - full details of my hardware and capture setup here https://talkunafraid.co.uk/astro/equipment/ ). Processed in #pixinsight. Quite happy with how it turned out - post-processing is always a learning experience! #astrophotography #deepspace

A dark image with a bright galaxy sitting in the middle; the galaxy is full of interesting dust lanes and blue stars, with some pronounced dark dust lanes along the bottom rim of the galaxy. Some bright stars further illuminate nearby dust in blue and white hues.

A co widział i wypalił znajdziecie na obrazeczku.

Znaczy na kilku, bo wychodzi na to, że mam 2h materiału (a 3h pracy) a od 8:30 do 16:30 się bawiłem w obróbkę i jest kilka wersji.

Celem miała być mgławica IC 1795[1], czyli Mgławica Rybia Głowa (Fish Head Nebula), ale po małej korekcie, jako cel została uznana gwiazda oznaczona jako HIP 11505.
Obróbkę robiłem za pomocą:
A) aplikacją do obsługi teleskopu Seestar S50
B) Siril 1.2.6+GraXpert
C) PixInsight z różnymi ustawieniami.

3 i 4) PixInshight + GraXpert (2 wersje)

Czuję, że czeka mnie duży wydatek na PI+dodatki.
