New / old. The new one has no weathering yet.
The translucent red resin I had on hand was too pale, so I had to add some interior red paint, so it lost most of its translucency. I'd like to mix up a new batch of tinted resin to fix this (building a second one just because).

I finally completed my MCRN pistol from The Expanse, although it still needs decals... Shown in photo above a mostly 3D-printed version that also needs decals. But now I can start work on the holster.

Too bad these are both mostly forbidden at Cons these days, so I'm not sure if they'll ever really get shown IRL.

Two replica (prop) MCRN pistol variations. The bottom one is based off an Airsoft as they were on the show, with a CNC'd upper barrel assembly, etc. The upper one is mostly 3D-printed with metal barrel components... The slide, trigger, mag, grip safety, etc. all function on the lower one, but not the printed one.

This is the gubbins minus the vertical scanner. You can see the linear rails. (I may resin print new smoked lenses later, these are just solid with a gloss coat)

And yes, that is the unfinished Severance Woe Meter below it. Look, I gotta mix some custom paint for the airbrush and I'm putting it off until I can't put it off anymore.

OK. Now I'm in the home stretch I feel OK saying what I'm working on (it's not a simple design, so... I was apprehensive). Still need to do the left side, but that's easy peasy compared to the rest.

@jonathankoren This is what the small linear rails are for. It will have a worm gear inside to move the scanner left and right.
