“Lost in the desert”
The amazing sand dunes of Lençóis Maranhenses in the state of Maranhão in Brazil.
In 1981 the Lençóis Maranhenses have been declared a national park (Parque Nacional dos Lençóis Maranhenses) to protect and preserve this unique eco system. The park covers a protected area of 155.000 ha out of which 90.000 ha are covered with these pitoresque sand dunes which fill with sweet water during the raining season.

A setting sun at the beach of Argentiera (Sardegna, Italy). It was basically shot against the sun and the contrast is so high that the sea and sky appear nearly #monochrome.
The photo was used by @RebelLog as cover for her wonderful and melancholic Fado ‘FadoAtlantico_FelizCidades’. The song is available on Bandcamp and the various streaming platforms.

The lower part shows the sea, the upper part shows a cloudless sky and the horizon is exactly in the middle. At the top right you see the brightness of sun, which is slightly out of frame. The sun is reflected on the sea. The contrast is so high that the picture appears to be nearly monochrome.

The "Death Car" near Skaloti (south coast of Crete, Greece) served as album cover of @RebelLog ’s wonderful and melancholic album "Miss Refu_G", released in 2017.
