Update on #smalltalk fixes for #guix: I've enabled most missing feats. Moreover, the package seems amenable to seperate outputs, meaning closure size won't be impacted. Also, readline support helps ergonomics a lot.
However, I've struck a snag in fixing the browser: the GTK binds don't build correctly, resulting in missing symbols. Would anyone more well versed in the GNU build system or smalltalk be able to offer some insight? More info in my list post: https://issues.guix.gnu.org/78070

Both #smalltalk implementations for #guix are broken to different degrees: gnu due to being starved for tooling (emacs repl w/o comint! normal repl w/o readline! and broken gst-browser) and sqeak-vm just not really launching. But I am determined to learn even if it is just a toy lang in modern times, it has that mystique as an even more academic and unprofitable yet fundamental lisp-among-lisps. packaging time again
