Last month SHEA issued a recommendation that hospitals and other health care facilities stop routinely screening asymptomatic patients for Covid-19. Testing adds time, cost. One of the studies SHEA used was Shira Doron's, one of Wen's 2 cited experts in her original WaPo article.
The #StatNews article notes that SHEA still hangs on to an outdated idea of how virus circulate in the air.
