One of the factors that lead to my current social isolation was how COVID permanently shuttered local coffee shops.

I got to know baristas and some of the regulars in those places. All of a sudden that human connection was gone forever. #SundayMusings

1. I think i'm the smol-est person at #FediCon2025 -- in the photos I've seen so far, it's very obvious (for the record, I am 5'0")

2. i really want a Capicola Monte Cristo sammich :ms_loud_cry: --- I think it's coz i'm overtrained and intermittent fasted for 2 days during the conference that I wanna eat something salty and spicy (likely my body saying "I need more electrolytes)

3. i really want to have dinosaur-shaped gyozas like what I saw from @Natasha_Jay's video.

I also learned there's a place in Mexico that does dinoquesadillas OMFG. I love spicy quesadillas! I can't remember the last time I've eaten a quesadilla so it means I haven't eaten those for more than a year (I went on an ayurvedic diet in Valentine's 2024 to Spring 2025) to improve my gut & skin health). Dairy was one of the foods I was not allowed to eat.

I am not saying that here, on my slice of the #fediverse, I found "my" people. What I do say is that Facebook, Twitter, Insta, TikTok, BlueSky, Threads are definitely not "my" people. But I would love to see all of them use a common language at the low-level -#ActivityPub. Once that happens, things can only get better :) #SundayMusings

I think I've uncovered evidence that we're in "The Matrix".

I take the dog for a walk on the same route along the beach most mornings. I often bump into a friend or two and a few people I'm familiar with but...

There also seems to be an infinite number of people and dogs who are procedurally generated - I've never seen them before and never see them again!
