Stoked to have found #KnobKraft-Orm even though I'm really bad at both #Sysex and #Python but this is the sort of #MusicProduction tool I like as I've got a decent amount of hardware lying about! If there's anyone who fancies their chances at getting it working with a Yamaha #SY85 I'd love to hear from you!
Saturday #DailyTracks : Spent several hours yesterday going thru the #Spectrasonics #Omnisphere hardware profile patches (available regardless of whether you own the profiled hardware). There is some incredible work going on in there. It's also a reminder that #SoundDesign and #SynthProgramming are very much their own thing. It's time you get back in many ways-
important because instruments like Omnisphere are a world unto themselves. It takes time to harness all that power
@mxtthxw It would be interesting to build a track entirely based on easily recognizable patches, upload it, and see what happens – "The Preset Song". Infringement overload!
It probably wouldn't prove anything your experience already hasn't already shown us, but I do like to see things with my own eyes.
SYNTH PROGRAMMING. Listening and searching for various melodic synth one-shots, arps and ornaments in early '80s soul/r&b this morning.
You can never have enough of stuff like this to spice up your music, so I'm using #Synthmaster2 to create some presets inspired by what I hear.
Here are a few examples I'm using for a pretty lush tune – so I exported the excessive reverb, too (and volume is relative to full mix) 😁
