...To Be Continued no doubt has its share of highlights, the most notable being "You've Lost That Lovin' Feelin'." The album's most epic moment opens with light strings and horns, vamping poetically for several minutes before Hayes even utters a breath; then, once the singer delivers the song's orchestral chorus, the album hits its sentimental peak -- Hayes elevating a common standard to heavenly heights once again. Elsewhere, "Our Day Will Come" features a nice concluding instrumental segment driven by a proto-hip-hop beat that proves just how ahead of his time Hayes was during his early-'70s cycle of Enterprise albums...

I really wish I could find some deeply sampled string machines in SFZ, SF2, EXS24 or WAV format.

Loomer went out of business. They had a Solina clone plugin for Linux. It was always on my purchase list, and now I can't buy it.

Has anyone captured multisamples of every key of a Solina, Logan, Elka, Eminent, ARP or Opus3, VP-330 --or anything similar?

Whatever platform you can tolerate using, I'll add to the kofi progress bar. I know there are many pressing and apex issues pushing us all for time and resource, so I really appreciate anyone that wants to help us go down with a good angry cathartic stomp. I am lucky to have a secure home but as I've shared in the past, I cannot work in public spaces so I subsistence farm and universe willing, make noise with my friends.

This is a glitch and heavily bent and effected cut of a voice! I used it in the track Retribution which first appeared on an album in 2001 and I'm using it again for a 2026 remake. I like it as a sweep into and out of other rhythms and loops and bridges. It could be some sort of pulse weapon, or amp it up and slap it on a hair trigger IR sensor outside to serenade the neighbours.

The bed of noise from which yesterdays blip loops came from. It has a borked rhythm but def no solid tempo per say. Is it a broken farm machine? Is it broken furniture? Is it broken antiquated computer peripherals? Is it broken guitar pedals? Is it many of these things and more? Who knows?! Add more distortion. Add more reverb. Take micro and glitch bits out of context. Or chuck it on loop and scare/enrage the bejeebus out of your family/neighbours...

I make a lot of layered noise beds from field and found sounds, weird tape accidents and sometimes synths too. Chuck em thru some pedals and the broken VHS deck for flavour and spice. Then I cut tiny bits out and turn them into rhythms and melodies from absolutely not instruments. Here are some gritty blip loops of that nature.
