Hier gibt es auch keinen Algorithmus.
Wenn also jemand 1300 User abonniert hat und einer von denen schreibt um 8 Uhr irgendwas, muss dieser am Abend die restlichen Tröts bis 8 Uhr zurückgehen um diesen einen zu lesen.
Das frisst Zeit und macht fast keiner.

Kennt ihr das? Jedesmal vor einer #Reise wünscht ihr euch eine perfekte App mit Packlisten in gut und schön? Zentrale Superliste, Gewicht für Rucksackreisen, Taschen und Koffer ineinander steckbar, freie #Tags, Sortierungen, Prios, Erledigt-Haken, usw., das ganze gute Zeug?!
Okay, ist nicht fertig aber ich habe mal angefangen Konzept, Datenmodel, Beschreibung. Vielleicht habt ihr Lust, mitzumachen und das zu realisieren?

How do people on Mastodon attach #tags to the bottom of a post rather than ram them into the body text?
This is the difference that could actually see me using them more.
I know people build INCREDIBLY complex bookmark collections in their browsers.
My brain just doesn't work that way. If you force me to create hierarchies, they will suck and be annoying.
I want tags. My brain runs on tag clouds. No wonder I favor tools like #obsidian and #joplin_notes for note taking and #linkding to keep track of links I want to remember.
#tags are what stitch together the fediverse. I think we got to remember to use at least one.
At least for any conversational topic.
Some higher number is probably excessive but that's for each of us to decide. An individual preference.
Mute with more than X might actually be an interesting feature.
Is there any way to block or hide posts with certain #tags in #mastodon app? Any #help is greatly appreciated.

That's a bit extremist. All I'm saying is that people who follow other people and value their views on most things may not share ALL interest (example: cat photos or basket weaving) and don't want to be inundated with posts on it, while still being able to enjoy and engage with that person's other contributions.
In the situation where we share some political interests but you're mad on cat photos and I love posting tables of trains I've spotted, wouldn't it be useful and fair to provide an opt OUT based on the same mechanism that people use ( #tags ) to opt IN?
No one's saying YOU shouldn't enjoy your interests and post them, just that it spoils the experience for those who don't share your interests.
