You don’t “own” your own console, or the games, and any physical games simply grant you a ‘license’ to play the downloaded game.
PLUS they are allowed to BRICK your console any time they decide you broke their TOS. Actually DISABLE it.

Read it and weep.

People on threads are posting concerns about the terms of service changes and how they basically give ownership of their content to Meta. But I don't think they realize that part of the terms have always been there.
The old text said users allow them to share to the fediverse when it's ready, the new text just removes the "when it's ready" part. The rest is pretty much the same.

Doordash is running an advertising campaign right now where they give you a free cookie if you sign away your right to sue them.
Essentially Doordash is running an advertising campaign on my campus where you get a free cookie if you "scan a QR code" but you only get that cookie if you have a Doordash account. To make a Doordash account you have to legally sign away your right to sue Doordash Inc.
