For whatever reason, #SIP based #VoIP clients for #Android and #Linux tend to have underwhelming #UI or even function poorly.

For a long time I have been using #Twinkle in #Gnome, which worked but did not look very nice given it uses #Qt.

Today I feel a bit silly because, until now, I had never heard of Gnome Calls. This application is an extremely simple SIP client that is trivial to configure and works surprisingly well.

And thus, Gnome Calls has become my SIP client of choice for the time being.
