I happen to be a (barely-)ordained minister, the same way thousands of us are - through the good old #UniversalLifeChurch - because good friends who helped plan and run our wedding asked me to officiate theirs a year later, and I couldn't very well say no. Happily, I now get to flex my ministerial muscles once again!
A friend of my spouse and her fiancΓ© have asked me to help them jump the broom this coming Friday in a low-key ceremony. I'm flattered and humbled. Wish me luck!
