Le truc très spécifique que je déteste avec Noël c'est quand on dit "on fait des cadeaux simples" et qu'au final les gens m'offrent des trucs incroyables
Donc parce que je suis en pleine panique je vais au moins rajouter un joli dessin dans mon cadeau, si l'aquarelle veut bien sécher avant 12h

So I made a card design for 2026, year of the fire horse. The first batch were just white horses because I ran out of time and didn't get to shading them before I had to mail presents to family members.

Now I'm making a second batch with shading. And I ran into beginner's luck!

Pic 1 is the first one that I did as a test on a piece of dirty, moldy-ass watercolor paper. It's rough, but somehow I like it so much better than the later ones (seen in pic 2) that are more carefully-done, but somehow seem less lively to me. And of course I can't replicate the first one.

Friends, is this all in my head, or is pic 1 the better one?

Set of six sketches in red tones of Grell Sutcliff from Black Butler. They are all set in a canon divergent AU in which she is a werecat. The first one is a tiny side profile view headshot, she is in her werecat form growling angrily at an unseen threat. The second one is a size comparison between her human form and her werecat form; in her human form she is wearing a Victorian dress and there is an arrow pointing at her that says "Regular Grell height"; her werecat form seems at least two heads taller that her human form but she is hunching so she is even bigger, she looks like a bipedal maine coon with a striped fur and has thick muscular arms longer than her hind legs, a mane of unkept hair along her back, a fluffly tail and tiny empty looking eyes. The third one is drawn from the knees up, she is in the middle of transforming, she is growing cat ears and claws, her hair is getting fluffier and her shirt is ripping. The fourth one is a side profile view showing her werecat form sitting like a regular cat. The fifth one is a tiny sketch of her werecat form's hand showing her pawpads and claws. The sixth one is a headshot of her werecat form, she is looking at the viewer with a deranged expression, opening her mouth wide and flashing her teeth while saying "You look tasty, darling. Mind if I take a bite?" The background is light pastel yellow.

Deep in rereading the 1st 4 books in the Rifters series to refresh my memory before I start writing. Reworking the older books to have chapter titles instead of numbers and making pretties for the special editions. Also have the KS almost ready for prelaunch. How's your ?
