Today I'm finding joy in the absolutely awesome time I had this past weekend at Capclave, the amazing SF convention run every year by WSFA, where they give out the WSFA Small Press Awards.

In honor of tonight's theme, I'm also finding joy in a wee dram of Highland Park (18 y.o.), because I deserve it.

Got to meet some of the other “zombie authors” at the Zombies Need Brains launch party at Capclave! They publish a bunch of wonderful anthologies, including SOLAR FLARE, featuring my story “Walking Through Fog”. 🌞🌱

I'll be at #Capclave this weekend on behalf of @angusm whose story "In the Belly of the Whale" from TRENCHCOATS, TOWERS, AND TROLLS is a finalist for the #WSFA #SmallPressAward!

(I run World Weaver Press, which published this anthology)

I'll also be on two panels, and will be doing an author reading on Sunday at 1:30.

If you'll be there too, please find me and say hello!

A dark city skyline with a purple sky and a pink sun in the "vaporwave" style cut with horizontal lines.

Text: "Maybe I adapted too much. Or maybe it was all those modifications, layer upon layer of kludges piled on top of each other over the years, opening up loopholes and vulnerabilities, until any two-bit hacker could have their way with me. I have feelings about that too." —"In the Belly of the Whale" by Angus McIntyre, Trenchcoats, Towers, and Trolls: Cyberpunk Fairy Tales
