More important than me having a good #capclave, I think everyone there had a good Capclave. There were a *ton* of great panel topics, with both good participant discussion and good audience questions.

Next year's GOHs are Nino Cipri & Rebecca Roanhorse. So looking forward!

I'm Elektra, and my joy today is that I'm here and feeling up to participating in #Writephant - yay!

I'm also still happy from my weekend spent at the 25th Capclave, a genre convention focused on small press. They had super special GOHs: Joe & Gay Haldeman, and Naomi Kritzer. All-in-all it was a great con!

My panels went great (even the 3 I moderated), no *ad hominem* attacks! and folks laughed at the funny parts in my reading

Do you attend conventions? If so, what cons are on your travel list this year?

I started attending cons as a fan in grad school, at the birth of Real-Time Real-Space roleplaying (now LARPing). I also costumed. I stopped attending as much during my heavy cat showing decades . . .

Now I have a regular con schedule:
#Boskone, #Heliosphere, #Balticon, #Confluence, #Capclave, #WFC, #Philcon

I try for the #Nebulas, #NASFiC &/or #Worldcon.

Cons or conferences that you would like to attend in the future?

Too many. For sure #Balticon in May, #NASFiC & #Confluence in July, #Capclave in October, #Philcon & #WFC in November. Hoping for Glasgow #Worldcon & #Nebulas2024.

Still figuring out where hubby is going and is I can find any roommates.
