#CERN: Here's a #winwin proposal: #physicists keep smashing particles, and downtime compute power feeds a distributed #AI #LLM network freely accessible to any/everyone (kinda like #Zenodo is for research/data storage now).

Even better...a custom #model that lets me run natural #language queries on your data so I can prove the #infoton exists.

Seems a logical #evolution to me, the nascent backbone of which exists (see #IPVM, and distributed comp isn't new: #SETI)

A panorama to a Win-win-area

This panorama from the front side of the Win-win Memorial shows the scale of the peace and recreation area.

The entire area spans 8 hectares and serves as a place of remembrance, reflection, and motivation. In addition to the central monument, there’s a separate 117-meter-long memorial wall adorned with bas-reliefs that narrate the journey toward a lasting peace after the foreign and civil wars. The site also features eight large and small water pools, a dedicated museum, several sculptures, and freshly planted trees and vegetation to create a greener park-like environment.

On the other end of the main road behind the flags the new big arena/stadium was being built. The new Morodok Techo National Stadium/arena was built to host sports event follow international rules for size and dimensions.
After it was finished, it has hosted various major international sporting event. Including the Asia Games. Additionally, this versatile arena can be used for concerts and exhibitions.

The memorial is located two metric miles north of the capital city Phnom Penh. The Win-Win Memorial, or វិមានឈ្នះឈ្នះ (Vĭméan Chhneăh Chhneăh) in Khmer, marks the end of over 30 years of civil wars and two decades of relatively successful transition to a peaceful society. The memorial was inaugurated in December 2018.

This photo was taken during a visit 8 weeks after the inaugural in 2019.

Photo shows a wide panorama from the platform where the main stele is placed, towards the main road. On the other side of the road, there is a large arena being built. The platform has three main levels, with wide stairs to walk up between them. On the side of the stairs there are wide flowerbeds, a bit dry in this early photo. Two tall lampposts with floodlights meant for nighttime decorative lights of the monument. On the ground square there are a two guardian Naga-statues in classic design where their tails are rails framing in the main platform. Two statues are visible on the main square, together with one person on the other site of the square there are more flower beds, and two sets of flagpoles with the national flag and the Buddhist flag. The background is a light blue sky with a few scattered clouds.

Overgrown tools of war in peace park

A notable feature in the Win-Win Memorial is a separate Peace Park south of the main monument.
Military equipment such as fighter jets, armoured vehicles, cannons, and tanks is displayed, surrounded and slowly engulfed by trees and plants that will eventually envelop the war machines.
A simple, yet powerful message.

Speed entry at Win-Win

When you are seven years old, speed is of essence. All the time!
A memorial symbolizing peace and reconciliation is probably worth to make a run for.
Located two miles north of the capital city Phnom Penh is the Win-Win Memorial, the first structure in what was to become a larger memorial and activity park area including a new sports stadium.
The main area is flanked by Cambodian and Buddhist flags.
The entire area spans 8 hectares and serves as a place of remembrance, reflection, and motivation. In addition to the central monument, there’s a separate 117-meter-long memorial wall adorned with bas-reliefs that narrate the journey toward peace. WFH - a new norm

Half of staff would look for a new job if forced to return to the office full-time, a new report has found amid increasing struggles over WFH

archive.today/2025.05.21-09041

We built our company (an IP intensive business) around the principle that flexibility on where and when you work was core. We grew it across Scotland and Northern Europe and it still continues to grow). Meanwhile the luddites are still fighting a rearguard action.

#WFH #UK #WinWin #Partnership

Part of the article, reads 'The former M&S boss Stuart Rose deemed that staff working from home were "not doing proper work", while Lord Sugar branded them
"lazy gits".
But as business chiefs line up to lambast the work from home trend, workers themselves appear ever more determined to maintain their new work-life balance.
Research has found that the majority of employees in the UK would refuse to comply with full-time return-to-the office mandates. The study, by the Global Institute for Women's Leadership at King's College London and King's Business School, analysed more than a million observations from the government's labour force survey and 50,000 responses from the Survey of Working Arrangements and Attitudes UK. The analysis showed that only 42 per cent of workers would agree to return to the office five days a week, down from 54 per cent in early 2022.'Some of the advantages '"Given this, for women, losing the ability to work from home may entail having to drop out of the labour market, or significantly reducing the number of hours they work, which can lead to negative career trajectories."
Heejung Chung, professor of work and employment and director of the Global Institute for Women's Leadership at King's, and lead author of the report, said: "An increasing amount of research shows that well-designed hybrid working models offer significant benefits for both employers and employees.
"Alongside this, there has been a marked shift in attitudes, with workers now seeing flexibility as the norm. Managers need to understand and adapt to this new reality.
"Rather than forcing a return to pre-pandemic working patterns, organisations should be looking to formalise hybrid models, invest in remote collaboration tools, and set up coordinated in-office days to maximise engagement."'And the luddites 'This month Emma Grede, the British entrepreneur who co-founded Skims, the £3 billion clothing business, with Kim Kardashian, said:
"Work-life balance is your problem. It's yours to figure out; it isn't the employer's responsibility."'

The core promises of a Win-win-peace

Located two miles north of the capital city Phnom Penh is the Win-Win Memorial, a larger memorial and activity park area.

The Win-Win Memorial marks the end of over 30 years of civil wars and two decades of relatively successful transition to a peaceful society. It was inaugurated in December 2018.

Monolithic central stage
At the heart of the memorial stands a three-sided 33-meter-high monolith with a pentagonal base. The three sides represent guarantees given to all Khmer Rouge soldiers who surrendered: exemption from life sentences, employment, and the right to own property.

The pentagonal base symbolises the 5 main points in the Win-Win strategy: Divide, Isolate, Finish, Integrate and Develop.

Statues serving a punch of guardian symbolism
One of the sculptures repeated on three sides of the monument base depicts a three-headed elephant carrying a Garuda on its back, supporting a flying Naga serpent figure.

The elephants symbolize wisdom and royal power. The Garuda, a bird-human demigod from Hinduism, serves both as a devoted servant to the main deity Vishnu and an efficient, flexible guardian who swiftly comes to aid.

The three-headed Naga atop the sculpture signifies both wealth and prosperity, with each head corresponding to Buddhist trinity: the central head represents Buddha, the right head represents Dharma (Natural Law, the Rule of Good Life), and the left head represents the monks.

Naga also represents the mythic origin of the Khmer people.

Photo shows a large stele with an elaborate statue in front. It is made of light-coloured stone and concrete. The background is a light blue sky with a few scattered clouds. The stele is clearly divided in three main parts, with a single spire in three parts on top. Probably with a lightning rod. The statue has a three headed elephant with wing as it base. It is ridden by a Garuda, a guardian figure with a bird of prey head, wings and feet, and human torso and arms. The Garuda supports a platform with a naga statue, a three headed snake with wings. Between the stele and the statue there is a light post one thirds the height of the stele with seven powerful floodlights.

What win-lose mindsets do you have? Could they be flipped, turning win-lose into win-win? Here's a story about turning win-lose into win-win.

Rejoice #luddites, turns out human data is actually a bit of a drag for #AI's
There is just not enough of it and humans are actually bit slow teaching the machines.

So the engines now are going to get their own goals, with hookers and blow.

Machines get smarter, and you don't have to cry that the #LLM ate your Furry-Marvel fanfic crossover erotica blog! #winwin !!!

International Spank Out Day

Punishing kids is something many people use to stop behaviors they don’t like.
No one truly likes it.

Just because of love, there must be another way.

✅ Hold space for yourself first. Then for your child.
👀 Understand the needs behind the behaviors.
🎯 Identify what you and your child want — both matter.

THERE IS ALWAYS SOMETHING YOU and/or YOUR CHILD CAN DO to meet your needs.

That’s WIN-WIN.

#Winwin
