Restarting everything 20 times suddenly worked. That was definitely not nice. I wish I would know why this happened, how I can prevent it and how can I autofix it in the future.

I moved half of my #Zigbee devices to #Zigbee2MQTT now. It's work but it's worth it.
I definitely like the map from Z2M much more than the ZHA map. It looks so much more structured than this chaotic map from ZHA. In both maps are current 30 devices.
That some devices are shown as offline in ZHA is also an error. They work without problems.

Dann kannst du dein WLAN aufrüsten, wenn es Zeit ist, und musst es nicht kompatibel zu alten wlan-Standards deiner iot-Geräte halten. #Zigbee Geräte benötigen auch viel weniger Energie, weswegen es unzählige Batterie Geräte gibt. Migrated my old standalone #Zigbee2MQTT server to the Home Assistant Add-on. Should take maximum 1 hour, but ran into unpredicted issues, so this costed me a whole day... Got multiple entities even when I used the exact backup of Z2M. Awful experience.
Sweet new interface in 2.4 #zigbee2mqtt. Very familiar to use, but a facelift.

Oh I hate Hue devices so much. Building up my #Zigbee2MQTT network and since I have the first Hue device in there, everything just fails.
This was the last device from the kitchen to add and I just wanted to have an evening now. But I guess this is over now…
ok now I've learned more about #Zigbee, #HomeAssistant thanks to helpful people replying to this thread - I've learned that Zigbee 'integration' with HA using something like the ZBT-1 Zigbee 'coordinator' requires me to setting it up as either #ZHA or #Zigbee2MQTT. Some devices might work better on ZHA, while others on the latter.
With one (USB) coordinator, I can only use/set it up as either one. If I choose ZHA, Zigbee devices (that I thought would work/be compatible with anything Zigbee) that don't work well with ZHA would be useless for me - vice versa. For example, this article I linked details a IR blaster I wanted to buy, cos.. 'Zigbee', but apparently it only works well with Zigbee2MQTT - if I accidentally bought something like this, and have set up my Zigbee coordinator on the Pi with ZHA, I might be 'SOL'.
Am I getting this right? Does that mean every device/appliance I'm buying going forward, I have to just.. do more research and hope it's either reviewed by someone (on this matter), or specified by the vendor (i.e. if it'd work on ZHA/Zigbee2MQTT)?

I'm in the process of switching from #ZHA to #Zigbee2MQTT and I'm really impressed by how much better everything is.
I know many people say this for a while, but after years of ZHA it's surprising what I've missed. Especially for some devices that exposed much less entities to Home Assistant via ZHA.
Suddenly I have so much more data about my home that I can not only see but also use for automations. Suddenly I can control stuff about some devices that were never available via ZHA.
I'm glad that I'm also switching the Coordinator in this process as it costs an unexpected amount of time to do this, as I have to update automations, the dashboards etc.
But in this process I can clean up so much stuff I did wrong in the last months and years.

Aggiornamento di #homeassistant e #zigbee2mqtt fatto. Vedaimo se nei prossimi giorni viene fuori qualche problema, in teoria leggo che dovrebbero aver migliorato la stabilità di zigbee
Fwiw, I think I got these #Sonoff radiator valves to reliably react to OTA check requests. E: — Tried it … doesn’t work. Pulling batteries out and restarting or repairing is more reliable.
Turn the Lock Mode on (either via Z2M, or by pressing the knob for three seconds).
Then continuously spin the knob, and perform an update check. This should keep the device „active“ and react to the OTA request, without timing out the moment you click „check for update“.
