Thick mist today, I couldn’t see anything beyond the next 5 to 10 meters. Thus the slower pace. But it was a very quiet and peaceful run with the mist drowning out all background noise. This morning run was a cool one, but I finished off another audiobook by #PierreMartin and restarted THE MARTIAN by #AndyWeir – it’s so good, I could listen to it all the time. There‘s 33 days left in this year, I‘ll split 991 kilometers over them, so there’ll be some long runs to take on. Ich geb zu: ich lese nicht viel. In den letzten 15 Jahren außer mal Fachliteratur quasi garnicht.
Gestern habe ich das vermutlich dickste Buch das ich je komplett gelesen habe zu Ende gelesen.
Und das zweite Buch in diesem Jahr.
Und ja, ich bin ein wenig stolz auf mich.
Tolle, faszinierende Geschichte. Ich mag das Setting.
Aus meinem aktuellen Hörbuch "Der Astronaut" von Andy Weir.

"Na gut, was ist in 19 Jahren?"
"Dann sind meiner Schätzung nach die Hälfte der Menschen die jetzt auf der Erde leben tot! 19 Jahre von jetzt an gerechnet!"
So. I've read Andy Weir's book. And when I saw the trailer of the movie they made, I thought "I've already seen this"
This goes to show that it's probably going to be an awfully good movie.
