Looks like #Spotify are now encouraging me to pay the ransom to retain access to all my playlists - for the rest of my life.
Good job I chose to purchase outright every track I've ever liked and made copies of my playlists in iTunes and LastFM routinely.
I will continue to access the Release Radar every Friday (until they take that away) on the free tier and also reveal that I've not heard a single ad on Spotify since I stared using the #arc browser. Fuck 'em.
