Dahlia 32: KH Beeline II number 6.
A perfect magenta jewel single dahlia that is perfectly small and beautiful.
Dahlia 31: Seedling dahlia SR2. A single dahlia, but I like the pink stripes in the yellow. The fluted petal edges are quite cool.
Dahlia 30: Floret Bee's Choice number15.
An small anemone dahlia which looks just like a daffodil. Interesting...
Here’s a better look at the entire plant 🐉
Dahlia 28: Dahlia Seedling KH NZG number 2.
A single dahlia, but has an interesting red/pink/orange ombre thing happening...
Tillandsia funckiana var. recurvifolia gettin’ funcky with it 🕺
Dahlia 26: Floret Bee's Choice number 3 seedling.
A magenta orchid seedling with it's petals curled in. So nice to see an interesting flower type.
Dahlia 25: Floret Bee's Choice number 12 Seedling.
A single purple seedling, not especially wonderful. Will see what it's second flower looks like.
Dahlia 24: Floret Bee's Choice number 6 seedling. A plain yellow single dahlia.
Dahlia 23: Strawberry and Cream decorative dahlia variety. A prolific small decorative dahlia flower.
So pretty and girly and pink.
Dahlia 22: Floret Bee's Choice number 10.
A frilly collarette dahlia. I'm so pleased with this one. I ordered one like this online this year and when the tuber arrived the tuber never grew.
1. #Bloomscrolling in the yard.
2. I'll be doing events @ UCSF related to my #memoir, written w/Dr. Bruce Miller. The flyer will get posted when ready, but for now if you're around UCSF on Wed., January 28th from 4:30 to 6 & are interested in hearing us read from & talk about Finding the Right Words: A Story of #Literature, #Grief, & the #Brain, hold that date & time! Bruce is a brilliant #neurologist, writer, & wonderful human being.
3. Ready to get back to writing on #Poe.
Dahlia 21: Floret Bee's Choice number 7.
A true cream dahlia seedling with a yellow centre. It's not often that a dahlia is pure cream in colour. She's on my list of dahlias to keep over the summer to see how her flower performs.
Dahlia 20: Seedling Dahlia SR6. Not a big fan, as the collarette type isn't strong, and the colours are muddy.
She's in a pot for the summer, so she can stay there until autumn and then she'll get put into the compost.
Dahlia 19: Mambo, a frilly and very pretty anemone dahlia.
I love her so much :birdheart:
Peace and love.
