I managed a small achievement of #bowling a personal best in ten pin last night. It was only 195, but it’s 15 points higher than my previous best of 180 two weeks prior. It also demonstrates how adverse a single open frame can be to surpassing 200.
Griffin bowling. He’s got what the kids call “mad skills”.
The title’s a good example of his sense of humour. I haven’t seen his acting showreel. Some actors put them on YouTube and they’re interesting to see.

Miracle of miracles... I'm supposed to get my MS treatment every 4 weeks. Insurance screwed up and it'll be six weeks for me, so that's two weeks with no infusion therapy in my body. I feel like hell, my body is so damn sore, and I'm desperately trying not to have any major flare-ups. I've been a wreck. BUT. But but but. I bowled so well today. I even won two games for us, and I bowled up above my average for all three of them. Woot, woot!

Today I learned a bunch (still not much) about the pin setting and scoring equipment at our local bowling alley. There system has 6 of 10 lane's scoring system just not starting. The owner told me their emergency support ticket got the "emergency" status un-flaged by a tech without any comment. When she called them they suggested new cables between components (8' ish rs232 cables) and a tech from across the country at her cost.
I said I could look, with no promises. Looked over the manual and jiggled some cables.
And let The Aura* work.
After that, the system booted and as far as I can tell worked. I'll be checking back in later to see if it held up.
* The Aura is a magical field that surrounds a technical person that causes misbehaving devices to spontaneously work correctly when another person intends to demonstrate how it was failing.

Went out to the #bowling league on Wednesday night in order to bowl as a sub. No one needed an extra man, so I decided to to toss a few practice games. It cost me $9 for 3 games instead of the typical price. I guess just showing up as a sub has its perks even if you don't join a team. Guess I'll know what I'll be doing Wednesday nights for a while. I'm still trying to learn this bowling alley. I'll need to talk with the pro-shop guy and get some much needed advice.

#Bowling went well. We're still a man down, obviously, because my nana broke her foot. She's healing up. For me: 131 for game one, 111 for game two, and 122 for game three. Five strikes today as well. Bowled above my average for every game, and we won two games and took pinfall. Thank goodness. 🎳
My second game was so tough. I was getting nine drops, weird setups and splits, and I just couldn't get spares. But hey, it happens.

Today, #bowling... All in all, we won the first game, the second, almost the third, and took pinfall as well. I bowled up a storm today, had a ton of spares and like 5 strikes. And we bowled a team I love as well, so it was great. The girls are so much fun. We all had a good time. Even though my nana is out, I'd say we did rather well.
