and since I was clearing the camera, here's a Brown Goshawk from the other morning. It's a #FotoFail because apparently 1/1250th of a second is not fast enough to capture the takeoff sufficiently.

An adult pair of Wedge-tailed eagles floating overhead & being challenged for aerial dominance first by an Australian magpie then a Brown goshawk.
Eagles: zero fcuks!
Go-you-good-things.

There' a family of Pied Currawongs on my property, and this Brown Goshawk has taken offence to them. Pictured here just after take-off as it chases one of the adult Currawongs.
I've been spotted!
One of the Brown Goshawk juveniles hanging around out the front of our place while I prep the pizza oven for lunch.
Came home to find all three #BrownGoshawk chicks have fledged (and are therefore now Juveniles).
They are all still staying in the general vicinity of the nest, and doing a LOT of contact calls.
One of the juvenile Brown Goshawks is on another branch today, a bit further away from the nest, while a younger one calls incessantly from the nest (not pictured).
I suspected there was a second, younger #BrownGoshawk chick in the nest, and this morning, I spotted both chicks (younger on the left).
One of the adult Brown Goshawks. The chick has fledged, I saw it flying with the adult, but it was too fast to get a shot. Still returns to the nest to rest, and calls for food regularly.
I think maybe the chicks have hatched, as it appears both the male and female were out of the nest today hunting. Hard to see here but the bird on the left has caught a small bird for lunch and has it in its talons.
I heard the Brown Goshawk this morning just after getting out of bed, and watched it do things in its nest for about 5 mins before heading out again. Managed to get this launch shot (the next frame was a better "in flight" shot, but missed the focus.
Update on the nest, it isn't a Pacific Baza nest, but rather the Brown Goshawks are nesting there.
I head soft calling so went to investigate and there was a Goshawk attending the nest, and then taking flight when done.
