Finally replaced Obsidian with #codium for using it as personal notebook / diary / todo list keeper.

I can not work with an editor that does no syntax highlighting even it is about plain text.

🎨 pour aider à distinguer les fenêtres #codium / #vscode des différents projets, j'ai installé l'#extension johnpapa.vscode-peacock qui permet de configurer la couleur dominante d'un workspace (= un projet). À partir de cette couleur, l'extension génère un lot de configurations dans la catégorie workbench.colorCustomizations (modifiable dans le fichier .vscode/settings.json du projet). Une fois la personnalisation faite, on peut désinstaller l'extension.

I want to try this copilot thing in vscode.

It turns out I already had the verilator lint support installed in my #vscode

And once I compiled/installed #verilator (and set up the path, which unfortunately seems to be manual), it is integrated nicely. It doesn't seem to run automatically though as I type.

Zumindest zu Irfan und Notepad++ kann ich sagen, das beide in Wine ganz anständig laufen.
Statt Irfan nutze ich mittlerweile #Nomacs und als Editor #Codium - falls du da mal schauen willst.

@joachim You can use VSCodium instead, which is VS Code without built-in proprietary functionality (including Copilot). I use it mainly because I am on linux, but it is cross-platform.

I uninstalled #codium and replaced it with #vim and #tmux to be a better #programmer but my #code is still shit.
