2 corndogs in a standard toaster. Using begal setting. The elements glow red and there is still a bit of frost on the surface of the battered dog. You know they are done when the sizzling is at climax and the smell of the lightly browned outer layer smells irresistible.

While I was in #Korea I picked up some frozen #CornDogs to take home. Finally got around to making them and they came with a surprise. The top half is a #cheese corn dog and the bottom is the meat.

Last night’s dinner for the kid and me - #Korean #corndogs, #elote and tots dusted with #kimchi flavor and hot cheeto powder.

On a whim & semi convinced they would not be good I bought some pickle flavored lil corn dog bites last time I was at traders.
Conclusion: they suck. 😛
The pickley cornmeal coating is sorta nice, if too under flavored. It’s the actual hot dog part that’s bad, all I get is a chemical taste. I Don’t eat corn dogs that often but im apparently used to the Disney ones that are surprisingly good. Our dog has offered to eat them for me but I’ve told her no. Lol

Continuing my unhealthy food series, had some corn dogs from a new place last night with sort of a Korean flavor. They were indeed as delicious as the photos imply. Garlicky kimchi-ish sauce with hot Cheeto powder. Apparently corn dogs are kind of a thing in Korea? I never knew.
