After WWII, Eric Emmelman, AKA the Heap, was recruited by a secret organization to battle the extraterrestrial agents provocateurs who provided the Nazis with advanced technology during the war.

After smashing a nest of alien shapeshifters, the Heap wandered across Eastern Europe and eventually took root in a meditation garden of a temple in the mystic city of Shambhala in the Himalayas in Nepal.

Came up with some antagonists(?) with no story over lunch. It's nice to just mess around sometimes.

Since I post about the comic-to-be pretty regularly these days, here's some old concept art from earlier in the design process.

The first one's a cast lineup from the first draft of chapter one, meant to keep people's clothes/color schemes/accessories/heights straight. I did NOT do a new one of these when the story and certain designs changed, which for the record was a Mistake. LEARN FROM MY MISTAKES, KIDS, ALWAYS HAVE REFS.
