The progress flag starts from the base 6 color rainbow gay, lesbian, and (silent majority) bisexual horizontal stripes.
A triangle area (pale yellow with purple circle, for intersex people) shares an edge with the short left outline of the overall rectangle.

The two rightward sides of the Intersex Triangle extend into chevrons: mid blue, lavender, strong pink, very dark brown, and mid brown.
The blue to pink are trans and, plus lavender, bi as well.
The near-black and brown are BIPoC (b/Black, Indigenous, and People of Colour) or BAME (b/Black And Minority Ethnicities).

(There is a pale green triangle on the Intersex Triangle's inner point intended for genderqueers. However this is probably covered by the pink and blue Trans Chevrons.)

Snapped this at an abandoned site that’s totally covered in graffiti—layers and layers of messages, tags, and art.

I boosted the contrast just slightly on this one to try and bring out more color without losing the rawness. Still learning, so I’d genuinely love any feedback or thoughts—especially on editing choices or how you’d frame something like this.

Still new to photography and training my eye. I’m not sure how to make the colors come through the way I saw them in person.

This is completely unedited—straight out of camera, shot in RAW exported through Darktable. I’d really appreciate any feedback, especially on how to bring out more vibrancy. Does it feel too flat to you?

This is a portrait of an artist friend that was so nice to sit for me. Wanted to have some paintings of my friends to hang on the wall but he wanted it very much so I gave it to him instead :). Direct en face portraits are very hard to execute for me and the drawing has a few issues. Looking back it kind of adds to the charm though.

Went outside with a fellow artist today and painted a castle that’s not too far here. It was very cold but I got my gloves and warm clothes. As always, I hoped for a better outcome technically, but it good to have room to grow too I guess :) I am happy about the light effect I was able to create though.

First painting of 2024! I’ve struggled whether to post this but I decided that I’m not a professional artist and as because of that I can freely post things like this too.

I wanted to paint some of the flooding over here at the river and got cold and frustrated quite quick. I think I’ll return tomorrow and paint something else to gain confidence and patience. I feel like these two go together. At least I hope so :$

A pleinair painting of the local church. When I started I was offered coffee by a nice shopkeeper on the street I was standing on. Boneheaded as I am I declined because I don’t drink coffee. Felt bad because I think it’s rude to decline hospitality. Sadly I didn’t see which shop they were from and eventually I packed my things and left, embarrassed.

Oilpainting of a big old arch built from mainly red bricks and some stucco work. The architecture is classical, with an architrave and a lot of decorations. It stands freely in front of a blue sky and the sunlight is hitting it from behind.

Digging around some more in the archive of 2023 paintings, this was another allaprima portrait of a young woman. I’m attending a little portrait painting group and she graciously sat for us.
