The antenna tuner absolutely nailed it, somehow matching my long-wire antenna across all the upper bands. ๐ชWith today's epic conditions, I snagged some fantastic longer QSOs with 3B8HH, 9J2BO, K2VV, W1MK, and more! ๐This morning, I even chatted with DK0HSC at the Ham Radio event in Friedrichshafen and IK0PHU (MeetMORSE #001). ๐ฅณ

QRT! The antenna's down now. What a fantastic long weekend out in nature! ๐๏ธ I even had some seriously gusty winds towards the end, which forced a quick antenna re-do. Still, I logged a solid 128 contacts. From QRQ to QRS, plenty of longer ragchews, and even jumped into the All-Asia-DX Contest for a bit. It was a great mix, plus sunshine โ๏ธ and cold beer.๐บThat's what amateur radio is all about! ๐ vy 73!

Operating today was a one-way effort. Calling CQ for hours and not even being spotted by RBN (which compared to Europe are only a few here in AS & OC). And even if spotted - I didn't get any replies eventually. Hence QRT for today and off for a Balinese massage. ๐โโ๏ธ
With my current antenna setup here in Seminyak (on Bali), I can only get out on the 12-meter band. There's just way too much metal around to get the antenna working right on the lower bands. But hey, conditions were good enough for a quick 15-minute chat with HS0ZQE today using this tiny whip antenna from my backyard that's blocked on three sides! That's why I love CW โ I can make contacts even with a less-than-ideal setup.
