Is it just me or has cable TV reinvented itself?

Not so long ago bundling options provided potentially hundreds of channels to consume. Even with so many channels available it felt like there was “nothing on” so to speak, or “more” equals “less” in actuality.

Did the advent of streaming channels and binge watching contribute to an illusion of choice? Providers might have figured out what you’d want to watch and divvied up the available offerings amongst themselves so you’d need multiple subscriptions to satisfy your show and movie desires, eerily resembling cable TV bundles again 🤔

Now after being saddled with multiple providers, it feels like there’s “nothing on,” yet again, and one might reach a breaking point and begin doomscrolling on social media instead 😐

At first, I wanted to shout out loud: No, we don't all have #brainrot! No, this is a typical US-problem.
