A small piece that was in an A6 sketchbook that I am now adding to a new larger sketchhbook as part of a bigger project. Media included Posca pens and Uni Pin fineliners on an ink wash background. Cross hatching and stippling for tone and texture. Will post more on this project at a later date.

Part of my current series, but also tied into an art prompt (Art Deco Flower), however, wanted to keep it thematic. Haven't been online much, struggling a bit.
Anyway, Poscas and Uni Pin fineliners, and some cross hatching and stippling in an A5 Seawhite of Brighton.

Stylised and geometric representation of a lotus flower within arches, with an art deco feel. The lotus is rendered in Teal and tone and shadow are reflected using a stippling technique. The archways are in a series of colours. The outer arch is in grey and the inner arches light plum, magenta and the inner section in deep red. Tone and shadow is reflected using cross hatching.

Ngl, I'm a little proud that I did them with #fineliners, no sketching out with pencils, but right to the danger zone. And looook how consistent they are! <3
However, it's just the ones I like best - I have placed them together and added the shading digitally.

Mixed media piece from exactly two years ago this month. I am actually working on new pieces, but I take my time these days and am slow to photograph (tedious).
This features a wash background using acrylic ink. The flowers and leaves are coloured and filled (apart from central petals left uncoloured to show wash), using Posca pens and fineliners.

Inspired by the opening sequence of Bulgasal: Immortal Souls, a KDrama on Netflix. If you are into that kind of thing, then check it out. Bitter sweet ending as always.

Though this doesn't qualify, fan art is not something I have done much of in the past, but as I love KDramas and CDramas it's something I am thinking about exploring.
