I bought this beauty at the flea market in Schöneberg yesterday. I cleaned it carefully and have to just wonder at the artist's talent. It says A. Jensen as a signature and has Danish writing in the back. There IS a super talented flower painter with the same name but this is made too expressionist for his age. Maybe someone honouring his heritage at a later stage.
What do you think, shall I get an expert's opinion on it?
Found at the #fleamarket today. These were all junked, here is how they were sold:
- Power light only from the #SNES (I bet a dead PPU or CPU)
- #Megadrive 2 in unknown conditions (seller did not have any accessory). The pokemon decals on it are especially ironic.
- #Playstation(s) no power or unable to read discs
- #Commodore16 is "dead"
No time to check them myself now.
I have cats to feed, mushrooms to cook and keycaps to label.
This book actually belonged to my late grandfather. My grandfather's grandfather or my great-great-grandfather bought this book when they were walking in a flea market, either in the late 1960s or early 1970s. My grandfather himself told me this.

Pile them directly on your nightstand.
You will certainly not regret buying 10 to 20 used books.
The most expensive, and smallest framed image, was the penny farthing, but I wanted it just for fun, not as a collector's item.
Now I just need to clean and reframe the women's sporting group, which is filthy, and list all my other new possessions.

Sunday, and the flea market beckons once more. To be on the safe side, although I had no intention of parting with a single note, I packed extra cash in my wallet. The last few weeks have brought little of interest in antique photographs, although I did buy two excellent and inexpensive frames last week.
And it is a good thing that I did add those few extra notes, as I ended up parting with them all. A good bit of bargaining along the way, ...

Went to a #fleamarket this morning.
It's a pleasure to go there, as it is one of the rare ones that are still growing, where the organizers are in it for the fun, and not to extract ludicrous amount of money from the participants (you can have a spot for just a contribution, no minimum).
So there are not only people bringing high value items, but people emptying out their attic, bringing old random junk. It's great.
I found this #vic20 , the "warm your hands over it on cold winters" edition. The seller had nothing for it, cables, the AC brick, nothing.
Who knows if it's cooked or not.
