For those of you who use #FreshRSS and read your feeds on Android, what app do you use? I'm looking for a new app, preferably one that doesn't require a subscription

For #RSS on #Android I just switched from Readrops to #CapyReader. It both is able to sync with #FreshRSS server, but Capy's UI better suits my needs.

Readrops looks fine, but it feels kind of wrong when using it. Especially in article listings. It seems like they use wrong UI components for the task.

Capy's UI feels less cluttered, more text focused. I better orient in the article titles. So far good work @_jocmp 👍️

Und noch mal FreshRSS: Eigentlich ja nur Hub für meine mobilen Geräte. Falls ich aber am Desktop via Web-Ansicht lesen möchte, so stellt die FreshRSS-Erweiterung "ThreePaneView" die gewohnte Spaltenansicht dar:

Gut. Die Feed-Aufräum-Aktion ist beendet. Vor ca. 2, 3 Jahren waren es noch 400 - im Laufe der Zeit ca. 100. Das neue Jahr startet jetzt mit 20 ausgesuchten Feeds :-)

@trigonella By the way, in #FreshRSS, you can consider marking as *important* a feed that is rarely posting, to reduce the risk of missing their articles, especially if you have many other articles

Ich habe ja berichtet, dass ich FreshRSS als zentralen Feed-Hub auf meinem Webspace laufen habe. Meist scrolle ich auf dem iPad durch die Artikel (dort: Reeder classic).
Auf dem Desktop finde ich Newsflash recht angenehm. Der kann via Api ebenfalls auf FreshRSS zugreifen:

L'idée, c'est de #selfhosted sur #yunohost des trucs stables genre :
- #actualbudget
- #freshrss
- #immich
- #jellyfin
- #nocodb
- #readeck
- #wallos
- éventuellement un ollama
- d'autres trucs que je connais pas encore.

Je garde sur le NAS les trucs que je teste, et les trucs qui n'existent pas sur yuno, genre #pinchflat ou #stashapp.

Donc prochain défi : trouver comment faire passer Yunohost par le reverseproxy synology :)

@lexinova you could use a rss service like #freshrss and go for a rss feed if the git service supports it. a github example for releases would be http://github.com/openwrt/openwrt/releases.atom

RSS is awesome, so my recommendation for #diday is #FreshRSS, a self-hosted RSS feed aggregator.

You can use it to subscribe to your favorite blogs and news websites, but also lots of other useful stuff like Mastodon accounts or even subreddits.

And they are on the Fediverse too:

1. J'ai passé le PC trouvé hier sous #LinuxMint . Il est un peu lent avec ses 2 Go de RAM mais il devrait pouvoir poursuivre sa vie.

2. J'ai installé #FreshRSS par curiosité. C'est plutôt chouette de s'installer des outils en local pour les tester.

3. On a récupérer plein de fruits et légumes invendus sur #Geev
