Outdoorová hamaka v provedení pro zimní přespání se ve větru houpe zavěšená v olších. Je noc a na celou scénu dopadá světlo měsíce. Scénu dokresluje teplé oranžové světlo, které se šíří z hamaky díky zavěšené lucerně kdesi uvnitř. Na zemi pod hamakou se perou stíny noci.

Najít opravdu kvalitní podcast o přespávání v hamace v přírodě je asi něco takového, jako se snažit najít vodu v poušti. Naštěstí jeden takový existuje a jmenuje Hammock Hangers Podcast. Kromě rozhovorů se zajímavými průkopníky hammockingu zde najdete spoustu velmi dobrých tématických rozhovorů i pro nováčky. Jestli jste to někdy chtěli zkusit, tak tento podcast vřele doporučuji, než se rozhodnete zavěsit mezi stromy. 😉

I'm quite proud of myself, because I figured out a way to hang my hammock in my back yard.

I spent the last two nights sleeping in my hammock, at least until it got too cold and I went back inside to warm up for the rest of the night.

I'm hoping to go bikepacking with my wife, and bringing our hammocks to sleep in. It takes up such little space that we don't need anything more than our existing panniers.

Every dawn brings something new.

I think it was one of the January sleepovers. I was up early then. The sky was cloudless. I noticed a faint streak of light through the trees, slowly drifting towards our campsite as dawn broke. I pulled my tripod and camera out of my hammock. I framed the scene and then froze for another hour, hoping the light of the new day would reach where I wanted it to.

When the spacing between trees is greater, the length of the tarp and hammock cords is no longer enough. On some journeys, I take some cords twice. There are situations where you can't do everything exactly as instructed.
