The Nemitzer Heide is a truly stunning heath. It was very fortunate timing that we were in the area right as all the heather bloomed. Usually the heidschnucke (a type of sheep) graze here but it seems they where elsewhere on this particular day. Perhaps it had something to do with the flower festival. 🤷

Links ein Stück Wald. Im Vordergrund Heidefläche. Im Hintergrund ein Hügel, der sich durch das gesamte Bild zieht. Der Hügel ist mit Heidekraut und Gras übersehen. Ein wenig Bodennebel im Vordergrund. Auf dem Hügel stehen ciele Birken und die Spitze des Hügels wird durch die Sonne beleuchtet.

Heidefläche im Vordergrund und ein Weg, der in der Mitte auch mit Heidekraut bewachsen ist führt ins Bild. Am linken Rand des Weges steht ein e Birke. Die aufgehende Sonne beleuchtet die Szene von rechts. Himmel rechts gelborange geht langsam links und oben ins blaue über.

Noch ein Bild für heute, das ich mitteilen möchte. Der frühe Vogel fängt den Wurm. In diesem Fall wortwörtlich. Wer eine Heidefläche nicht mal am frühen Morgen besucht hat, wird nie ein Zeuge dieses Naturspektakels sein. Die Farben, die Ruhe, der intensive Blumengeruch. Einfach überwältigend.

Das ganze Bild ist in goldenes Farbe getaucht. Im Hintergrund der wolkenlose Himmel. Oben leicht blau geht in goldorange über. In der Mitte des Bildes steht ein Wegweiser und zwei Bänke daneben.

Und dann kam die Sonne und und tauchte die Landschaft in einen goldenen Glanz. Nemitzer Heide.
