@lax @smagnusson Oh you need global state for it. I feel dirty doing it but I use a singleton. It’s all compiled with a DEBUG flag but you could also inject a dependency in production and record them as part of the analytics. In Swift I use #file and #line to find the call site of each TODO(). I also write a TODO.swift file that lets me jump to each TODO via some #warning shenanigans.

#Line 、アップデートして使えるようになったが、「ピン！」というチャットが届いたときの通知音が広告で鳴るようになってしまった。
設定を色々探してオフにしたつもりだが、直ったかどうかわからない。
このためにアップデートしたのか。
タダで使っているから文句は言えないんだろうが、使い始めておいそれとはやめられないとなると、どんどん金儲けのために重荷を押し付けてくる。ネット企業のいつものやつ。タダで使ってるけど、ネットの通信に金はかかるわけで、そのネット通信で広告を送りつけてLineは 金儲けしてるわけだから、金を搾り取られていると言っても過言ではない。
スマホはそうも行かないが、パソコンは早くLinuxにしなければ。

Seems like we've reached the end of the #line - the Saudi Arabian vision of futuristic living turned into #fascist #architecture.
There were some very nice concepts in the line: The 360° walkable neighbourhoods, that would cover all your needs, multilevel green spaces, lots of water, living and commercial spaces integrated into one another, no cars. Nice.
Now let's get to the fascist and class issues, which the architects and designers unfortunately fail to address in the lines promotional videos (https://youtu.be/eoDR8wgoCM8 ). The most striking is the overarching shape of the city: A thin 200m wide 170km long straight line. Considering that the makers talk about the pain of long commutes, and the goal to make sure that needs are met in a 400m radius, 200m width is an odd choice, massively limiting space design options. Then the city is supposed to be in modules, one self contained module built at a time. On top of that comes the multilevel approach - booth for footpaths and subways. In the video they say this is for comfort - you can always take the fastest way to you. But what that design is really great for is social segregation. In this architecture it is very easy to design what neighbourhoods you can get to from where. The Line is such a closed of space, that you are entirely dependent on the cities infrastructure to stay alive. Workers rebellion in one block - cut them off vital infrastructure and transport. The wealthy never need to see how the poor live, while still being able to keep the workforce close by. Own subway routes for workers, and no tourist or influencer will ever accidentally stumble into the dark underbelly of a society pretending to be wealthy.
I am glad this nightmarish vision is coming to an end, before it was truly born. But so I don't forget the names, in case they crop up in other project, and I will always remember to question the motives for their designs, here the people who wanted to be know for being part of this dystopian vision of living:
