I have a million dollar idea. Costco should start opening a new set of stores with a slightly different membership requirement. People who wish to shop these specific stores have to have walked in public with other people around before. I don't know what the fuck it is about Costco but people are always just in the way. 😂

Mashable: My ghoster apologized to me. Here’s what they had to say.. “Not only is ghosting seemingly ubiquitous in today’s society of online connections, but so is a ghoster reappearing. An observation of here in the USA: when boarding a train, people lined up in front of a door will queue to enter. Even if a second door opens immediately to the side, they prefer to stay queued rather than switch to board faster. Does this mentality oppose the idea that humans always seek out the most rewarding opportunity? What if they extract reward from getting to board after waiting in line?

The Register: AI chatbots that butter you up make you worse at conflict, study finds . “State-of-the-art AI models tend to flatter users, and that praise makes people more convinced that they’re right and less willing to resolve conflicts, recent research suggests.
