I’m excited to share a quick look at our second game mode: Chase Mode, working both on-device and inside Unity 6.4.

In Chase Mode, every time you place a shape, a moving target travels to a new random spot on the grid. If the target is sitting in a row, column, or sub-grid that you clear with your move, you catch it.

πŸ“± iOS App Cost Breakdown (India)
The cost of building an iOS app depends on 7 key factors: app complexity, design quality, developer type, tech stack, backend setup, third-party integrations, and post-launch support.
Knowing these helps you plan smarter and build better.

Would it be stupid of me to take one of Apple's App Review sessions even though I'm not putting a new app into App Review soon? #iosDevelopment

I think that's the fastest I've ever gone into review: 16 minutes. I hope that's a good sign! #iosDevelopment

I thought FretSketch 1.1 was ready last night so I built a release candidate. Today I've noticed one of the animations keeps firing at the wrong time. It's just too distracting to ship.

Rather than debug that, I'm just going to make the animation more subtle. Since I've gone from a flip to a fade, misfirings shouldn't affect the screen at all.

Waste of an otherwise good release candidate, though.

I'm starting to worry that I'm becoming afraid to actually ship product, though. #iosdevelopment

App Store Connect not taking Unicode can be frustrating. I have to edit my build notes a lot.

For example, one of the points originally said "Show 𝄫 instead of β™β™." There's no satisfying way to fix that. #iosDevelopment #AppStoreConnect

I've decided on some future directions for FretSketch:
* Features I've already added and Mac support.

Then (unordered):
* Banjo support.
* Accessibility improvements, ASAFP. Cutting it for 1.0 burned, but I don't know how to handle it in SwiftUI yet. #iOSDevelopment #MacDevelopment

In the end, I hid the changes I didn't want in 1.0.2 and shipped it. That saved trying to unwind the version number in App Store Connect. The new features still need some tuning, but 1.1 should be submitted later this week.

I'm still stuck on how to kill the never-shipped Mac 1.0.1 and catch up with the iOS version. #iosDevelopment #macdev #AppStoreConnect

I started to add a 1.0.2 to my app in App Store Connect, but decided I want to make it a 1.1 instead. While it's mostly bug fixes, making the rules manageable involved adding a couple new features. Any idea how I fix this?

At the moment I've got "1.0.2 Developer Rejected" but can't find a way to remove 1.0.2 or add 1.1.

Can someone tell me if the monthly subscription option has disappeared from my app?

apps.apple.com/us/app/fretsket

I'm not seeing it in the .storeKit anymore.

I don't really mind if it's gone forever, it's just hard to write around not knowing if there's one or two subscription options. Specifically, I'm trying to fix the macOS subscription screen so I can ship the Mac version. #StoreKit #iosDevelopment #macOSDevelopment

edit: it’s there in the US. I wouldn’t mind hearing from a Canadian, though.
