Yesterday I was thinking of throwing out this entire view. After a sleep, a rename, and a couple minor refactors I'm pretty happy with it.

A few very significant changes to ViewModel and Model were made to get it here, though.

I'm still not entirely sure I like MVVM, though. #ios #iosDevelopment

Speaking of code.. Does anyone know of a way to call the handler of a UIAction in a way that won't upset App Review? #Xcode #iOSDevelopment #UIKit

Code calling the handler using a private ivar

if ([barButtonItem.primaryAction isKindOfClass:[UIAction class]l)
{
// Would be nice if the handler wasn't private, huh?
Ivar ivar = class_getInstanceVariable(barButtonItem.primaryAction.class, "
_handler");
UIActionHandler handler = (ivar) ? object_getIvar(barButtonItem primaryAction, ivar) : nil;
if (handler)
handler (barButtonItem.primaryAction);

Been reading the code of a couple of third-party libraries to see how THEY use these APIs and features. I'm not necessarily planning on using these - they're more textbooks for me than plans at this point. #ReactJS #MobileDevelopment #AndroidDevelopment #iOSDevelopment #IMissPortableThreads
