dev @Billie
À l'aide, depuis une mise à jour mon #imagepipe ne pipe plus depuis ma galerie photo, au lieu de réduire l'image avec les bons paramètres il me génère une image à 0kB. Une idée ?

Spoiler: I run an own #fdroid #repo as an alternative channel for my apps #imagepipe and #TinyWeatherForecastGermany .
The problem is, unless your builds are reproducible (mine are not), you can't update with the other channel due to different apk signing keys. To switch the update channel, you need to uninstall and do new install from the new source.
Same for #obtanium .
Just wanted to install/prove that #imagepipe perfectly runs on such an ancient device (#kitkat, #qvga 320x240 pixels), and the device does not boot properly.
Stuck at the boot logo since 20 minutes, tried a factory reset, cleared cache, but this did not help.... 😥
Se assuste com o quanto a #IA da #Google captura e interpreta corretamente da suas fotos. Imagine fotos de pessoas?

#imagepipe version 0.70 will soon be available at the main #fdroid repo.
#imagepipe is a #floss #android #app that removes exif data and modifies images to reduce size before sharing.
Version 0.70 has 6 new filters: five reduce colors and apply dithering (error diffusion) and one ("halftone") makes the image look like in an old b&w newspaper print.
As the new filters are quite computation-intensive, you will see a horizontal progress bar while the calculation takes place.

I just released #imagepipe version 0.70 !
New features are:
✴️new filters to reduce the number of colors combined with dithering
✴️ new menu to define allowed exif tags
✴️ fixed app crash when file size of cached image was not available
#imagepipe is a #app that reduces image size and removes exif-tags when sharing images on #android devices.
So you say that it is now safe to trigger an #app #update on #codeberg and fetching the source code won't fail anymore at #frdoid ?
Just about to publish a new version of #imagepipe .
I have added some more #filters to #imagepipe :
- color reduction combined with dithering down to 2, 16, 64 or 256 colors,
- and a halftone filter that makes the image look a little bit like in an old b&w newspaper.
#fdroid just built the new #imagepipe version successfully! 🎉
You can enjoy the new features soon!

I have just released #imagepipe version 0.69. It should be built at #fdroid soon.
It fixes broken functionality with some gallery apps (looking at you, #samsung) that put the single image picking result in the clip data (instead of putting it directly into the intent).
It also comes with a new dialog allowing for rotation by any angle, and with an option to delete the image data in the app immediately after sharing.
Also, the sharing itself now works much faster.
I hope you will enjoy it!
Did you know that #imagepipe has a nice #wiki at #codeberg that describes all the app features and how to use them?
It is here: https://codeberg.org/Starfish/Imagepipe/wiki/Home
Just to let you know. Perhaps you have missed some of the app features.
Documentation is also part of #floss work, and that is what I have just done: updated the wiki to match with the next #imagepipe version that will be released soon.
I spent a significant part of the day to improve #imagepipe.
