I'm thinking about doing a September-through-end-of-the-year €20 sale on the Artisans Cooperative storefront. (US and Canada only right now.) Every item €20 + shipping, no exceptions.

This is an UNREASONABLY LOW PRICE for all but two listings, but I've got my reasoning. Hear me out.

I've been pretty ambitious with the things I've made for the shop. They are necessarily pretty expensive, because they take so much labor. The result is most of what I've precreated hasn't been bought, and I feel discouraged to amass more inventory for fear of physically running out of space where I live right now.

In addition to that, my membership with the Artisans Coop isn't fully paid off yet, and I have a couple months left to do so. Each sale boosts points toward my membership, so it's in my best interest to sell a number of items via the AC as soon as possible.

If I can get everything sold by the end of the year, even if I'm making pennies per hour as a result, I could have verified sales, a paid off AC membership, and more space to expand my inventory.

Hey all, I'd just like to share this article from the #IndieSellersGuild about a new bill that just passed in the US, the #COOLOnlineAct. It's extremely relevant to any #artisans on here who sell or intend to sell their #handmade #crafts and wares, especially if you've been affected by #Etsy 's rampant dishonest reseller problem.

The bill requires products posted online from sellers in the US to display which country they were made in, much like products in US stores display the same “made in” labeling. The head half of a bed covered in plushies. There are a couple of dog plushies toin the back, and the edge of a few other animals visible, but centered are nine crocheted plushies sitting behind a store bought sonic the hedgehog with one backwards leg.

The crocheted animals consist of the following: A crouching white cat with black yarn for eyes, a sprawled out yellow and magenta cat with white Buttons for eyes sewn on with black yarn, a Meter long bright red ball python snake with button eyes, a slightly shorter snake with the same shape but a green head and a rainbow body, a small brown mouse, a black and white rabbit with grey lines for eyes, a fat pink teddy bear with what looks like a shoe lace tied in a bow around its neck and crocheted yellow eyes with black pupils, a splotchy colored teddy bear with a disproportionately large head and big black eyes, and an emperor penguin where the natural feather colors of black and white have been replaced with blue and grey.

On a more serious note: These will be up for ONE WEEK! On May 2nd, I will be temporarily closing my store, and it won't be reopened until after I've been to my first physical event. These may not be there after that!

Could use some advice folks.

So someone asked if they could pay extra to get a frog by Mar 18. So not shipped by then, received by then.

I'm fairly busy with orders, but have like, made sure I have down time. So like I could do it.
I'm thinking of telling her it's a $50 fee to make it happen.

Thoughts? Advice?
