While it's taking more time than expected, I'm thrilled with how this knitting project is shaping up. Moving forward! 😃

I've made progress on my knitting, with one sleeve at 30 rounds and the other at 25. I'm alternating between the two sleeves to avoid second sleeve syndrome and ensure they're nearly finished by the time I reach the cuffs 😃

This lace project has entered "ramen noodle territory." Despite 2.5 hours of travel time, I only completed 8 rows, which was a tad disappointing 🙄

The Flits! cowl is designed to use different colors. The spot where you change colors determines where the patterning changes direction! 😃

This mosaic shawl is on the blocking mats, and I've already received the feedback from my technical editor. Next is to do the photo shoot, and get the test knit live. As always, my Patrons have first dibs on the testing spots available! 😃

As you can see in this picture, the short row part of the second sleeve of Kanarie is now also done. So now it's a matter of knitting in the round until both sleeves are of sufficient length to start the cuffs! 😃

I've also started the short rows on the other armhole. I figured it would be best to get those out of the way before I get started on the length of those sleeves! 😄

All done! In this pic, the remainder of the yellow yarn is not included. Donut stole it to play with it. It wasn't until a couple of hours later that my youngest found it underneath the couch. Cats! 😆

I thought I'd put Kanarie on my mannequin to show you how the top of the shoulder looks. I really like it! 😊

I finished the transition part of the border. The yellow wave in stockinette is all done, so from this point all the WS knitting is in knit for a non-curling garter stitch result 😃

My grading spreadsheet has been reworked, and I worked out the correct numbers for the stitches to be picked up, the puff sleeve increases, and the short rows for Kanarie 😃

I had a lovely time working on London Vibes with Donut's company. I'm pleased with the pattern rearrangement, needing to shift markers only every 12 rows. Quite manageable for maintaining place! 😃

I made a sweater using Elizabeth Zimmerman's percentage system. It is more of a guide than a pattern, freeing you to make all sorts of adaptations.

I made this sweater oversized and with a raglan neck, for lounging and doing outside chores. I can't wait to make another one that is fitted and meant to be worn out and about!

Have you ever used Elizabeth's percentage system?

I love all orders, but it's extra nice to get an order where the primary colour is one of my own favourites! 🧶Tbh I have a lot of favourites so it's not hard to make that happen! 😂 I've had quite a few hat orders this winter, if it becomes a thing I'll have to get some more patterns going!

The remaining stitches have been corrected to garter stitch. I dropped it all down, and worked it back up in garter stitch for the remaining triangles. It helps that in this column, there is only plain knitting, and no slipped stitches in the patterning! 😃

I transitioned from stockinette to garter stitch, but the top stitch of the green wavy band needed correction. Do you see the small green triangles? On the left, I changed a yellow stitch to garter stitch because it bothered me too much! 😆

For Kanarie, I have picked up the stitches for the first sleeve. But, but my numbers for front and back differ. So, I'll have to rework some of it.... 😆
